Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
Psykick (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Psykick web and mobile application at psykick.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through Firebase Authentication. We do not store your password in plain text.
Your responses and journey data. Questions you receive, answers you submit, AI-generated reflections, artwork, and related session metadata are stored to provide the service and preserve your journey when you register.
Guest sessions. If you use Psykick without an account, progress may be stored locally on your device (including session history, passport state, and welcome artwork). A device identifier may be used to enforce fair-use limits and migrate your session if you later register.
Wallet visibility (optional). If you connect a Solana wallet, we read publicly available on-chain data to display balances or holdings. Psykick is non-custodial: we do not store private keys, execute transactions, or move funds.
Usage and analytics. We collect product analytics (such as feature usage, language preference, and interaction counts) to improve stability and understand how the app is used. This data is used for operations and product improvement—not for third-party advertising.
Technical data. Standard server and security logs (IP address, request metadata, timestamps) may be processed by our hosting providers (Google Firebase / Cloud Functions).
How we use information
- Deliver questions, reflections, artwork, and history features
- Authenticate accounts and migrate guest progress on registration
- Enforce usage limits and protect against abuse
- Improve reliability, performance, and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations
AI and third-party processors
Psykick uses third-party services to operate the product, including:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, and hosting
- OpenAI — some questions, reflections, translations, and image generation
- Solana RPC providers — read-only public blockchain data when wallet features are used
Your question and answer text may be sent to AI providers to generate reflections and related content. Do not submit information you are not comfortable having processed for this purpose.
Data retention
We retain account data and your saved journey while your account is active. You may delete your account from the app, which removes associated stored data subject to backup and legal retention requirements. Guest data on your device can be cleared by removing app data or browser storage.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Psykick, when required by law, or to protect the security and integrity of the platform.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, and Firebase security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
Psykick is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Use Psykick as a guest or create a registered account
- Delete your account and associated data from Profile settings
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable
International users
Psykick is operated from the United States. If you use the service from other regions, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
